Architecture

Metify meticulously designed Mojo with a simplicity-oriented approach, leveraging established technologies to ensure steadfast stability and reliability.

Mojo is structured around the following essential components:

  • Coordinator – Houses the web core components of Mojo
  • TOR – Manages provisioning services, encompassing iPXE, TFTP, and more.
  • Gateway – Acts as the router and traffic endpoint monitoring for all BMC traffic in and out of Mojo.
Mojo efficiently uses either tagged or untagged VLANs for each of its networks. Customers can choose the secure segementation model that works best for their specific environment.
  • Provisioning: Dedicated to provisioning operations, specifically iPXE and TFTP. This network facilitates the installation of images from Mojo to target servers.
  • BMC: Exclusive for the Baseboard Management Controller network, overseeing server control through dedicated BMC ports. Communication occurs through secure web sockets and adheres to the DMTF Redfish standard.
  • Management: Functions as an air-gapped network for all management traffic, API, and CLI connectivity to the Mojo platform.
  • Services: Reserved for backend communications among all Mojo components, this network handles crucial non-customer-facing operations such as backups, replication, and other mission-critical functions.
